I’ve been eating very poorly the last couple of days and it has finally caught up with me. My tummy hurts. So. Much. It’s bloated and gassy. It does not feel good. No it doesn’t.

Fitbit weekly update.
At first I was a little disappointed at the slight weight gain, especially because I made the point to be extra active during the weekend. But then, honestly, I haven’t made the best food choices. You get what you give.
So, I’ve made posts in the past about how hard it is for females to get “bulky.” That is, however, keeping in mind that everyone has a different idea of what “bulky” is. Like, for instance, some people told me they found Jamie Eason to be bulky.
Which is fine - I know a lot of people have…
THIS. Especially the part about how much hard work it actually takes to get ‘bulky’ or ‘Bulky’ or ‘BuLkY’….

Made a giant jug o juice. I’m calling it Beet+ juice. Although it has carrots, celery, baby spinach, ginger, lemons, pears and apples, the giant head-sized beet I added overpowers the juice. Whatevers. Beets are good for you.
First 6 to reblog (because my bib number was 3866!).
Post will be deleted after the number of reblogs is reached.
- Reblogs only
- Must be following me
- Etc.
Yay!
Look up for my run sum later today when I’m not a zombie :D
Because I remember to take pictures of my food after I’ve devoured it.
Two things are making me so happy today.
I bought the annotated version of the Phantom Tollbooth. I’m excited to reread the childhood classic in general, but I’m definitely intrigued to learn the tidbits I undoubtedly missed then and would have probably missed again.

Second, I bought some huge, delicious looking mangos from a street vendor. When I glanced at the sticker, it said “Haitian Mangos.” I kid you not, I squealed. Haitian mangos are freaking amazing. They are similar to the Manila mango (easier to find), but much bigger. Win! I hate the roundish, orangey-red ones most commonly found here in the USA.
Mangos are my favorite fruit … as if you couldn’t tell ;)

Michelle Obama: First Lady Of Fitness
Football drills, tennis, biking, running, cycling, dancing, running drills with the cast of The Biggest Loser, and rocking pushups with Ellen Degeneres AND Desmond Tutu…. Michelle Obama certainly walks the walk. And she keeps things fresh by trying new things and mixing up her workouts.
Getting outside, playing a sport, trying a new class, going for a hike etc.: try to vary your workouts from time to time. It helps stave off boredom, will improve your overall fitness and you might discover new favorites. When’s the last time you tried something new? :)
Click above for a short gallery of the First Lady getting her ‘fit’ on & mixing it up!
I love her. Politics aside, how could anyone not want to be friends with her?
Fitbit weekly update. I far exceeded my goal of walking at 70K a week, which I’m very happy about. I have a hard time making the 2000 calorie goal a day so I’d like to focus a bit more on that. So far I’m loving my Fitbit. Makes me take the stairs more often than not :)
